Structural characteristics of flow control valve

Oct 12,2021

Structurally speaking, the flow control valve is a two-valve combination, which consists of a manual control valve group and an automatic balance valve group. The function of the manual control valve group is to set the flow rate, and the function of the automatic balance valve group is to maintain a constant flow rate.
Each opening of the manual control valve group corresponds to a flow rate, and the relationship between the opening degree and the flow rate is calibrated by the test bench, and it is equipped with an opening degree display and locking device.
For the manual control valve group, the flow rate G=Kv(P2-P3), the size of Kv depends on the opening degree, the opening degree does not change, the flow rate G does not change, and the constant of P2-P3 is controlled by the automatic balance valve group of. For example, if the inlet and outlet pressure difference P1-P3 increases, the automatic balance valve group will be closed through the action of the pressure-sensitive membrane and the spring, so that P1-P2 will increase, thereby maintaining the constant P2-P3; otherwise, P1-P3 will decrease. Then the automatic balance valve group is opened to make P1-P2 decrease, so as to maintain the constant of P2-P3. Even when the pressure of the pipe network changes, the automatic valve core will automatically open or close the valve port under the action of the pressure to maintain the set flow value unchanged.
